The Cafuelarena Ca arena
The Cafuelarena Fashion and Lifestyle cult, influenced by French cafe society, congregate in areas where there might be boats/yachts or anywhere near a river or sea. Famous for their bright red berets, bright red wool coats, usually duffel coats, and nautical
stripes t-shirts.
Berets can be navy blue, alternatively.
They go around in groups of sixteen,spending much time drinking in bars near a river or the sea. Or in coffee bars in town. Interested in politics, philosophy, art, particularly art deco and harbour marina. They favour jazz and French films, but also like mainstream music and films. Said to be quite posh and sophisticated, and great posers, but usually quite nice. Anyone can join, we don't care where you came from, it's who you are tomorrow.
THE FASHION
Bright red woollen coats, usually duffel coats. Bright red berets, or navy blue berets. Nautical stripes t-shirts. Navy and white horizontal, 5cm wide stripes. Black trousers, wool or woomiix, with bright red playing card diamonds pattern. Navy blue flat shoes. Girls do not wear skirts. Optional neckerchief, tied around neck, red or navy. Girls usually Cleopatra style jet black haircut, also known as 1930s style, or Uma Thurman pulp fiction. Many girls wear bright red lipstick. Lads hair is short or medium, never long.
The clothing has outer labels, and the official trademarked silver badges pinned on coats and berets are rented.
The Cafuelarena is for people
aged 15 to 35,
Under 18s frequent coffee bars.
SMOKING
The Cafuelarena, perhaps controversially is not anti smoking. They say it is a matter of individual choice. This policy exists because the cult has genuine connection to the jazz age when people did smoke. A number of Cafuelarena pose with ciggy holders. Though Honor Hammond does not smoke.
